What This Service Is

Down the Middle is a free news-comparison tool that surfaces how left- and right-leaning outlets cover the same government story, alongside an independently generated neutral summary. It is provided for personal, informational use.

No Guarantee of Accuracy

Coverage summaries and left/right framing descriptions are generated through AI-assisted live search and may be incomplete, outdated, or imperfect. This is not a substitute for reading original reporting — links to primary sources are provided on every story specifically so you can verify independently.
